The Afterdarks have been around since 2003. With 4 eps and 3 full lengths under our belts. We pride ourselves on being hard working, blue collar, beer drinking, hotrod wrenchin', full time rock and roll musicians! We get a little dark, raunchy, beer soaked, risque, offensive, defensive, hyper-tensive whenever we do what we do! Maybe we've spent a little too much time in our hometown graveyards growing up. Maybe its our idle hands. Maybe its the beer. Whatever the case, it takes all that angst to make us  America's premier "Dirty, Greasy, Grave-diggin', All-American, Rock and Roll Review"!

With the greatest of friends in many of the Car Club circuit in the region, The Afterdarks hold their own in the Rockabilly field. Every show brings a level of energy that no person can stand still to. Where image means a lot to many artists in the industry, our edge is pure energy and non-stop, well-written songs. We do very few covers, but know many that we practice for special occasions. A night out with The Afterdarks can produce several hours of entertainment with no duplication the entire night!

“The Afterdarks represent something that’s gone from America—an unwavering, unapologetic oath to self that a certain level of brutality thrives inside all of us and if it’s forced to linger for too long, you’re gonna get some kick ass rock ‘n’ roll.

Seeing them live is the same as being bound, gagged and thrown in the trunk of a ’67 Caddy driven by a methed-out, reincarnated Johnny Cash while Jesus rides shotgun, sharing life stories to a soundtrack played by the Devil.

Once the guitar fires up, you’ll throw your fist in the air, stomp your feet, slam a beer and throw a beautiful woman under your arm, realizing that there is meaning to life and this might be it.

‘Cause you’re only young once and if you aren’t any more, you might as well get kicking at life because it doesn’t get any better than this."
